A check-up and clean is a routine preventive visit where your dentist examines your teeth and gums, then removes the plaque and tartar that brushing at home can't reach. It's a simple way to stay ahead of cavities, gum disease and other issues before they start to hurt.
Catching a problem early is quicker, gentler and far less involved than fixing decay or advanced gum disease later on. We take our time and show you what we see, so you understand your own mouth. For the clean itself, we offer Guided Biofilm Therapy on a Swiss EMS machine, a gentle way to remove plaque and stains with a warm spray instead of scraping.

Most people benefit from a check-up and clean every 6 months. If you've a history of gum disease or cavities, we may recommend visiting more often.
A routine clean is generally comfortable. If your gums are sensitive or inflamed, you might feel some mild pressure, but we always work gently and can adjust if anything bothers you. We also offer Guided Biofilm Therapy, a warm-spray clean instead of scraping, if you'd prefer the gentler route.
We examine your teeth, gums and bite, and take digital X-rays when needed to show anything hidden beneath the surface. You'll see a clear picture of your oral health before we move on to cleaning.
The consultation is RM100, and that includes the exam. A follow-up visit is RM30. If you need anything extra, like X-rays or a scale and polish, we'll talk you through the cost before we do it. T&C apply. Results may vary by individual case.
